Once your booking and shoot date are confirmed, as well as the location and weapons rented, filming will typically take around 4 hours. You can expect to receive your finished 2-5 minute film product as a file within two days.
The advertised film packages are suitable for ages 8 and above. The short films are carefully censored to ensure that there is no sexual content, glorified violence, or coarse language.
For safety reasons, we cannot allow the use of certain weapons such as live blades (sharp swords), display swords, replica guns or real guns. However, we can provide some weapons with conditions applied. The acceptable weapons for use are LARP weapons, toy weapons, gel blasters (in QLD), and re-enactment swords.

When purchasing a film package, you will get the complete experience, including training and a professionally edited final product. Please note that all raw footage captured during the day will be the property of Folklore Coaching for promotional and other purposes. Additionally, Folklore Coaching reserves the right to use the final product for promotional purposes across all platforms. While you will not have a say in the final edit of your film, the goal is to only shoot what we will use. Any footage not used in the final edit will remain the property of Folklore Coaching.
As the star, you hold the power to shape the story as you see fit. Any suggestions provided by the Folklore Coaching team on the day of filming are merely ideas and not mandatory. You can rest assured that you will never be pressured into doing something you are not comfortable with. The team is solely present to guide and educate you while fostering a secure and enjoyable environment for you and your friends to create a film.
